Descrizione

 

Paleo comune, Brachypodium pinnatum. h 40-100cm.

  • Le foglie hanno una ligula tronca di 1-2mm, la spiga lassa porta spighette fusiformi disposte su un piano con reste brevi. Fioritura Maggio-Luglio.
  • Prati secchi, incolti, margini dei boschi fino al piano alpino. Pressochè in tutta Europa.

Il breve peduncolo delle spighette è menzionato nel nome generico che in greco significa "breve piede".

 

 

Identificazione famiglia
